Llanthony Show 2010

For all of you who were at the show and wanted to know how Harri is doing after coming off badly in the rodeo – she’s OK.  She has a broken left collar bone but was released from hospital that evening after being flown to Cardiff from the show field on Saturday afternoon.  She’s in good spirits and tells me she is looking forward to finding a position as farrier’s apprentice to continue her training as soon as she is better.  Its all hands to the pump now on the trekking yard while she’s out of action for a few weeks.  We all send our love for a speedy recovery.
The rest of show day was great – the weather finally picked up in the afternoon after a damp morning and a large crowd of visitors enjoyed all the other attractions; a carriage driving display, gymkhana, beer race, fell running, children’s’ races, decorated floats, fancy dress, the list goes on!
Despite the Brecon Show date now clashing with ours after they changed a few years ago we still managed to attract many top competitors in the showing classes.  To see pictures from the show go to www.Copperphoto.co.uk where you can order photos.  The next show event is the annual dinner and dance fundraiser in November.
Love from Karen and all at Court Farm.
